Nadezhda Japardize, PhD, is a Senior Scientist of the Laboratory of Brain Ultrastructure and Nanoarchitecture at I. Beritashvili Center of Experimental Biomedicine and Professor of Histology and Embryology at the New Vision University. Nadezhda Japaridze has been using various approaches of histology, immunocytochemistry, electron microscopy, behavioral tests and other methods for many years to study the structure of brain tissue and the viability of neurons and glial cells in various pathological conditions. Nadezhda Japaridze is also co-principal investigator of a number of scientific and educational projects funded by national and international scientific foundations and co-organizer of several international symposiums, workshops and schools (Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation, ISTC, FENS, Sigma Xi, UNESCO, Iowa State University, SENCER :PROGRAM, etc.). Nadezhda Japaridze is the author and co-author of more than 20 articles published during last 10 years in international impact-factor journals and prestigious editions (Elsevier, Springer, Journal Discoveries, Singapore Publishing, Nova Publishing Corporation et al., and the presenter at more than 40 international scientific congresses, symposiums and conferences.
